Guidelines for filling the application
The application for the workshop is only through the online interface. All fields are compulsory. There is no application fee.
If you are a Masters student who is yet to finish his/her degree, in the form-field for year of passing of Master's degree, please fill in the year you are expected to complete the Master's degree. Also, in the marksheet pdf to be uploaded, you should include the marksheet available till your current or last semester.
In the registration form the applicant must inform about their arrival station whether Bangalore or Vaniyambadi station or Jolarpettai station in Kavalur. The arrival location mentioned in the form cannot be changed later due to logistic constraints. Note that the selected participant must arrive at IIA Bangalore Campus before 3pm on 14th June, Wednesday while the latest time to arrive at Vaniyambadi station or Jolarpettai station in Kavalur is 6 pm on 14th June, Wednesday. A bus will be arranged for VBO from IIA Bangalore campus on 14th June at 3pm. A bus will be arranged for VBO from Vaniambadi and Jolarpettai station on 14th June at 6pm. Similarly, in the registration form the applicant must inform about their departure station, after workshop ends, whether Bangalore or Vaniyambadi station or Jolarpettai station in Kavalur.
Please make sure you have provided the correct address, phone/Fax numbers and email ID's (official email id only) of one faculty member from your institute/university who can write a letter of reference for you. Please note we may contact for reference letter only if needed and not necessarily from all applicants.
The results will be announced online around 15th May, 2023. The successful candidates will be contacted via the email ID’s they have provided during the online submission. The selected candidates will be required to present originals of mark sheets at the workshop.
Online registration
Candidates are requested to create account in events.iiap.res.in using their e-mail address in the link "Create Account" if they have not created account before filling online application form. A registration confirmation e-mail may take some time to deliver (please also check spam e-mails).
