If you would like to attend the conference, either in-person or online, you will have to register by following the link on the menu.
You can attend the conference without submitting an abstract for a talk or a poster. However, if you would like to present your work, then you would need to submit an abstract. You will also have to register before you submit an abstract.
Please note that there are no registration charges. You will also have to arrange for your own travel and accommodation. We will be providing lunch on both days. We may also be organizing a trip to Vainu Bappu Observatory in Kavalur on a nominal payment basis.
Step 1: if you do not have an IIA Indico account already, you need to create one first. Click on 'login' in the top right corner. If you have a login already, go to Step 6
Step 2: You will be taken to a login page. Click on 'create one here'.
Step 3: You will now to be taken to a page where you have to enter your email address for verification.
Step 4: Once done, you will receive an email in your inbox with a link to click to verify your address.
Step 5: You will be taken to a page to fill in your personal details in order to complete your account details. Note that this is NOT the conference registration form. You will NOT get an email confirming your account creation.
Step 6: You can now register for this conference. Click on 'Conference Registration' on the menu on the left.
Step 7: You will be taken to a page to fill in your details. Please make sure you fill in your email address correctly.
YOU NEED TO REGISTER TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE IN-PERSON OR ONLINE.
You will now receive an email stating that you have registered, and that it is awaiting approval. Once it is approved, you will get another email saying so.
Step 8: IF you would like to submit an abstract for a talk or a poster, then click on 'Call for abstracts' in the menu on the left.
Step 9: You will taken to a page where you fill in the title, abstract text etc. You will NOT get an email confirmation after submission.
The abstract will await approval. We will accept abstracts till 24 January 2024 and the status of your abstract (whether it has been accepted or not) will be intimated to you by 12 February 2024.
