The 40-inch telescope at VBO/IIA has completed 50 successful years of operation in 2022. IIA is planning to celebrate this milestone on December 15, 2022, at IIA Auditorium, Bangalore campus in hybrid mode. The second-day celebration on 16th December will be at VBO, Kavalur. This meeting will highlight the facility's accomplishments over the last 50 years and honour our esteemed guests involved in the 40-inch telescope installation.
