In this talk I will review the importance of Machine Learning in Astronomy. I shall describe some of the applications and then focus on our recent work using Machine Learning algorithms on Gaia data. We applied Machine Learning to determine membership in star clusters using the supervised technique of Random Forest and the unsupervised techniques of GMM, DBSCAB, OPTICS and HDBSCAN. We shall present some of our results and the significance and comparison of the methods used.
