DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Sanna Gulati (NCRA-TIFR)\n\nAbstractActive Galactic
Nuclei (AGN) powered by supermassive black holes launch relativistic jets
that emit across the electromagnetic spectrum. Studying this broad emissio
n helps us understand particle acceleration\, jet structure\, and how ener
gy is released in these extreme environments. In this talk\, I will presen
t recent multiwavelength studies that combine radio\, X-ray\, and gamma-ra
y observations of different AGN systems. This includes low-frequency uGMRT
results from the Palomar-Green (PG) quasar sample\, which provide new ins
ights into extended radio emission and its connection to accretion and jet
power\; broadband modeling of sources such as NGC 1275 and Pictor A\, rev
ealing complex jet components and high-energy behavior\; and constraints o
n the gamma-ray emission region in the quasar 3C 380 using radio-gamma cor
relations and SED modeling. Together\, these results show how observations
from MHz radio to GeV gamma-rays can uncover the physical conditions with
in AGN jets and improve our understanding of their emission processes and
 unification.\n\nhttps://events.iiap.res.in/event/400/
