This lecture is part of the engineers day celebration at IIA on 20th Septembet 2024. The birth anniversary of Sir M Visvesvaraya, 15th September is celebrated as "Engineers day".

  • 02:40 PM : Introducing the Chief guest Prof Gopalakrishnan S by Dr. Nagabhushana S, Head of systems engineering group, IIA
  • 02:45 PM : Talk by the Chief guest, followed by interaction with the audience and question/answer session.
  • 04:00 PM : Felicitation of the chief guest by Prof, Annapurni Subramaniam, Director IIA.
  • 04:15 PM : Vote of thanks and concluding session by Dr. Nagabhushana S, Head of the systems engineering group, IIA.
  • 04:20 PM : Group Photo with the Chief guest.
  • 04:30 PM : High Tea at West lawn

About the Speaker

 Prof. S Gopalakrishnan is a senior Professor at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, IISc. He is also serving as the Editor-in-Chief ISSS Journal for Micro and Smart Systems, Editor of Transaction of INAE, Associate Editor, Smart Material and Structures and Associate Editor, Structural health Monitoring.
