The Indian lunar exploration program kick-started with Chandrayaan-1 in 2008. With three missions to the Moon to date and counting, a roadmap is in place opening up a whole set of new possibilities in science and exploration. I will talk about the scientific significance of our Moon, the why and the how of it.
